Energy Star v3.1 for Contractors – CEC.03170

This class will serve as an introduction for contractors to certifying homes through the Energy Star system for efficient construction, which is one of the prerequisite options for Green Built Homes certification. Homes certified through this system must meet strict building performance standards. This class will familiarize builders with the certification system and recent changes. Register Now!

- Key house characteristics that make it harder to meet Energy Star
- The process for getting a home certified
- Tricky checklist items that builders struggle with
- How the reference home has changed
- Best “pickup opportunities” to meet Energy Star
